Two Months of Proactive Clean-Ups: “Beach Clean-Ups for the Planet” Returns

With the season just around the corner, it’s time to gear up. Creatives for the Planet is launching its spring campaign: a series of coastal actions combining direct environmental impact with sports and community participation to protect what we love most: our islands.

The Winter’s Impact on Our Paradise

Every spring, before the crowds arrive, our shores reveal the visible impact of winter storms. Plastics, ropes, fishing nets, and various debris travel across the ocean only to wash up in protected natural areas. These fragile ecosystems—the jewels of Ibiza and Formentera—require constant and proactive care.

Last spring, thanks to our collective effort, we removed over 2.5 tons of waste. This year, we are back with an expanded network of partners and an even bigger ambition: we want our positive impact to be visible, lasting, and deeper than ever.

Much More Than a Clean-Up

This year, the campaign happens both on the sand and at sea. Depending on the location, we will feature kayaks, a solar boat, kitesurfing gear, and guided coastal hikes. We want every meeting to be a unique experience, enjoying the environment from the water and the land alike.

The clean-ups are active, collective, and open to everyone. No pre-registration is required: just come as you are, bring whoever you like, and let’s do this together.
